Rabbit enrichment
Our commitment to animal welfare including enrichment is a daily commitment. Our rabbit enrichment program includes:
- Music in each room for 24 hours daily
- Group housing up to 4-1/2 -5 months of age
- Dumbells, chains, bells and other 'toys' are supplied for continuous enrichment
- Resting pads are provided in each cage as needed
- Flat, perforated cage bottoms
We do not recommend shipping rabbits under the age of 12 weeks. If you require a rabbit under 12 weeks of age, please contact customer service team for more details. Weights may fluctuate slightly from the growth chart depending on time of year.
Health Monitoring Report Update
Inotiv is standardizing global health monitoring to deliver consistent, rigorous surveillance. Updated reports featuring our revised testing frequencies and agents will begin with the September 2026 cycle with reports becoming available between mid-September and early October.

Rabbit Availability Update
Inotiv has discontinued commercial rabbit production at its North American facilities. Existing customers may continue to receive supply through December 2026, and limited stock may still be available for select needs. Customers interested in rabbit availability are encouraged to contact their Inotiv representative to discuss current inventory and requirements.
